Designed for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU, and 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT, the Summit skid plate is laser cut and press-brake formed from 3/16" thick USA steel for exceptional strength and durability.

The Summit Series Skid Plate provides additional protection beneath the front bumper for the lower grille area and factory sway bar system, including the electronic sway bar disconnect found on Jeep Rubicon models.
Its compact profile provides the protection you need without unnecessarily reducing ground clearance or interfering with tire clearance.
Designed for 40"+ Tire Clearance
Built for modified Jeeps running larger tires and increased suspension travel, the Summit skid plate features a compact, sloped design that maintains clearance for 40" and larger tires.
The angled profile also helps maximize approach angle, allowing the skid to slide across rocks and obstacles rather than creating an unnecessary obstruction at the front of your Jeep.
Heavy-Duty 3/16" USA Steel Construction
Each Summit Series Front Bumper Skid Plate is laser cut and press-brake formed from 3/16" thick USA steel, then fully welded and finished for strength, consistency, and precise fitment.
A heavy-duty 12-bolt mounting system secures the skid tightly against the front of the vehicle for a strong, integrated installation capable of handling serious trail use.
Rubicon & Non-Rubicon Compatible
The Summit skid plate is designed to work with factory Rubicon and non-Rubicon sway bar systems as well as many popular aftermarket sway bar configurations.
On Rubicon models, the skid provides valuable additional protection around the factory electronic sway bar disconnect assembly—an expensive component positioned directly in an area exposed to rocks and trail obstacles.
Works With or Without the Factory Crash Bar
The Summit Series Skid Plate fits tightly against the factory crash bar for a clean, integrated installation. For modified Jeeps where the factory crash bar has already been removed for additional tire or suspension clearance, the skid plate can also be installed without it.
Bolt-On Installation – No Cutting Required
Installation is straightforward with no cutting required. The skid plate bolts into position using the included heavy-duty mounting hardware and integrates directly with the Rebel Off Road Summit Series Front Bumper.
All required skid plate mounting hardware is included.
Premium Powder Coat Finish
Powder-coated Summit skid plates undergo a multi-stage finishing process beginning with sandblasting and a four-stage iron phosphate wash with a deionized water rinse.
A zinc-rich primer basecoat is followed by a durable black fine-texture powder coat, providing a clean finish and additional protection against corrosion and environmental exposure.
