Build serious front-end protection into your Jeep with the Rebel Off Road Summit Series Steel Front Bumper & Skid Plate. This package combines our compact, winch-ready Summit Series Front Bumper with the matching heavy-duty lower skid plate for increased protection above and below the frame.
Designed for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU, 2018+ Wrangler JL/JLU, and 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT, the Summit Series combines 3/16" USA steel construction, a recessed winch mount, 1" recovery points, 40"+ tire clearance, and lower grille and sway bar protection in one integrated front armor system.
This package includes both the Rebel Off Road Summit Series Steel Front Bumper and Summit Series Front Bumper Skid Plate.
Complete Bumper & Lower Skid Protection
The Summit Series Front Bumper & Skid Plate package extends protection beyond the bumper itself, covering vulnerable components beneath the grille while maintaining the compact dimensions and approach clearance that define the Summit Series.
Because the bumper and skid plate were designed as part of the same system, the two components fit together cleanly without the bulk of adapting a universal skid plate beneath an aftermarket bumper.
Heavy-Duty 3/16" USA Steel Construction
Both the Summit Series Front Bumper and lower skid plate are laser cut and press-brake formed from 3/16" thick USA steel.
The bumper features robotically welded construction for consistent strength and fitment, while the skid plate is fully welded and finished to provide substantial lower front-end protection.

Recessed Winch Mount
The Summit Series Front Bumper incorporates a recessed heavy-duty winch tray that positions the winch lower in the front bumper for a clean installation while helping maintain airflow through the Jeep's grille.
The integrated winch tray uses the standard 10" x 4.5" mounting pattern and accommodates popular recovery winches including WARN ZEON models rated up to 12,000 lbs.
The recessed configuration also allows the winch to be installed or serviced after the bumper has already been mounted to the Jeep.
1" Heavy-Duty Recovery Points
Integrated 1" thick steel recovery shackle tabs provide strong and easily accessible recovery points directly at the front bumper.
Their exposed location makes it easy to connect properly rated shackles and recovery equipment when performing winch or vehicle recovery operations on the trail.
Protect Your Lower Grille & Sway Bar System
The included Summit Series Front Skid Plate extends protection beneath the bumper to help shield the lower grille and vulnerable sway bar components from rocks, ledges, and other trail obstacles.
On Rubicon models, the skid also provides additional protection around the factory electronic sway bar disconnect system.
The skid plate works with factory Rubicon and non-Rubicon sway bar configurations as well as many popular aftermarket sway bar systems.
12-Bolt Skid Plate Mounting System
The Summit Series Skid Plate uses a heavy-duty 12-bolt mounting system designed to hold the skid securely beneath the Summit front bumper.
Its compact construction fits tightly against the front of the vehicle and can be used with the factory crash bar in place or with the crash bar removed for additional clearance.
Designed for 40"+ Tire Clearance
Large tires require more than suspension and fender clearance. Front bumper and skid plate geometry can become limiting factors as tire diameter, steering angle, and suspension travel increase.
The Summit Series uses a compact bumper profile and sloped lower skid specifically designed to maintain clearance for 40" and larger tire applications.
The angled skid profile also helps the Jeep transition across rocks and obstacles rather than placing unnecessary material in front of the vehicle.
Built for Approach Clearance
The Summit Series Front Bumper sits tightly against the Jeep's frame while the lower skid uses a compact, sloped profile to maintain excellent front-end clearance.
Together, the bumper and skid provide substantial protection without creating the low-hanging front profile commonly associated with larger traditional bumper and skid systems.
Integrated Auxiliary Light Mounts
The Summit Series Front Bumper incorporates 3.25" square auxiliary light openings, allowing compatible lighting to be recessed directly into the bumper.
The integrated design keeps auxiliary lighting protected and maintains the clean, compact appearance of the Summit Series front end.
Factory & Aftermarket Sway Bar Compatibility
The Summit Series bumper and skid system is designed to work with factory Rubicon and non-Rubicon sway bar systems as well as many popular aftermarket sway bar configurations.
This makes the system well suited to everything from moderately modified daily-driven Jeeps to heavily built trail vehicles.
Gladiator Mojave Compatible
The Summit Series Front Bumper is compatible with the factory Jeep Gladiator Mojave skid plate, allowing Mojave owners to retain the factory protection specific to their vehicle while upgrading the front bumper system.

Premium Textured Black Powder Coat
Summit Series armor receives Rebel Off Road's multi-stage finishing process designed for durability and corrosion resistance.
Components are sandblasted and pre-treated through a four-stage iron phosphate wash with a deionized water rinse. A zinc-rich primer basecoat is then applied beneath the final black fine-texture powder-coated finish.

Installation
The Summit Series bumper and skid plate are designed as a bolt-on front armor system using heavy-duty mounting hardware.
The front bumper uses a 14-bolt mounting system, while the lower skid plate uses its own 12-bolt mounting system.
Because Jeep configurations, factory equipment, and winch dimensions vary, some applications may require additional clearance work during installation. Always test-fit the bumper, winch, and related components before final assembly.

5-Year Rebel Off Road Warranty
Rebel Off Road proudly backs ROE products with a 5-year warranty against defects in materials, workmanship, and components determined to have failed under normal use.
Because Summit Series armor is designed for off-road environments, rust resulting from chips, scratches, trail wear, or other damage to the finish during normal use is not considered a manufacturing defect. Labor associated with installation or removal is also not covered under the warranty.
Protection Above & Below the Frame
The Rebel Off Road Summit Series Front Bumper & Skid Plate combines recovery capability, front-end protection, lower sway bar protection, oversized tire clearance, and excellent approach geometry in one integrated system.
Run it as-is for a clean, low-profile front end or add a removable Summit Series Hoop later as your Jeep build evolves.
