Description

Thi Nemesis Industgries lower shock mount relocation kit has been designed to alleviate multiple clearance and functionality issues that customers experience when lifting their Jeep JK.

By rotating the shock eye perpendicular to the axle tube we have allowed the shock to pivot on the bolt which provides unhindered movement throughout the cycle of the suspension. Where as the factory style mounting depends solely on the misalignment of the bushing or rod end depending on the style of shock you are using. The kit out-boards the shock 2.0" and raises it .5" creating additional clearance to run a larger bodied shock AND have more downward travel.

The shock relocation kit can simply be bolted in on the factory Rubicon housing, however, we recommend welding it in for additional strength.
 
Build Specs
You can confidently install these brackets knowing they have been constructed from quality materials by the craftsmen at Nemesis Industries. Using a water jet the Factory 44/30 Front Lower Shock Mount is cut from 3/16" steel. The flare is then dried, cleaned, and sanded to remove any dross (slag) leftover from the cutting process. Forming of the flare is handled by our CNC press brake, using tooling developed by our resident tool and die maker. The part is then TIG welded and metal finished providing a seamless finish. Upon completion the flare is once again inspected to ensure a precise fit.

  • Factory 44/30 Front Lower Shock Mounts are available bare only.
  • Factory 44/30 Front Lower Shock Mounts can be bolted onto the factory rubicon front axle housing, but we recomend having a professional weld them on for maximum strength.
  • Pro Rock 44 front JK housings require a weld on only version of this bracket.
Installation
Installation can be handled by the average home installer, and can be completed in two hours for the pair, using basic hand tools and a drill.
