Exploring the New Rear Hatches for Bed Racks

Hello everyone! Today, I want to showcase the differences between the rear hatches that we now offer for all of our XPLOR Bed Racks. We have a new addition to our accessories, and I'm excited to share it with you.

The MOLLE Rendition

Our MOLLE rendition of the rear hatch is a fantastic addition to our full-height bed racks. The full height means it extends all the way up to the cab height, making it perfect for mounting a large rooftop tent or anything that's going to be overhanging.

But more than that, this rear hatch adds a lot of security. It's designed in such a way that you cannot get into it without unlocking it. We've included a handle that locks up with the tailgate, ensuring there's no rattling and giving a nice, tight seal.

The hatch opens up onto its own hydraulic rams, allowing full access without impeding any height or space to get things into the bed. You can still mount your table, and we've also added an accessory mount that can bolt onto either our solid or our MOLLE rendition of the rear hatch.

We've also designed custom handles to match a lot of the most popular colors of the Jeeps out there, from gray to all black, to orange, blue, and more.

The Solid Version

Moving on to our solid version of the hatch, this option is great for those who want to keep everything out of sight. It's fully enclosed and seals up really nicely, thanks to the same hydraulic setup.

We've also included an additional accessory panel that you can add on to attach any of your other accessories, like your first aid kits, recovery kit, or any type of gear that you want quick access to.

The solid version of the hatch offers a really clean install, and we're in the middle of adding all of the lighting to the interior of this as well.

Future Plans

What's really exciting is what you don't see yet. We plan on adding panels to the outside of the solid hatch. You might already be familiar with the carrier plates that we offer with all of our XPLOR Bed Racks. Well, all those carrier plates can be added to the side of the solid hatch, so stay tuned for future updates!
