This latest generation features refined cosmetic updates, including a contoured step design that follows the vehicle’s body lines for a clean, factory-style fit. The step now extends an additional 2 inches toward the rear for safer, more accessible entry to the back doors.
Internally, Rock Slide Engineering upgraded to a smart motor system, eliminating the older gas strut design to improve longevity and reliability. The result is consistent step operation — even in freezing or harsh trail conditions. A built-in sleep mode minimizes battery draw when your Jeep is off, while the 12-inch step extension automatically deploys when you open the door and retracts flush against the slider when closed.
Built from 10-gauge steel with stainless steel and aluminum internals, the Step Slider delivers unmatched durability and rust resistance. Each slider undergoes an acid-etch and powder-coat process for a long-lasting, textured black finish.
