Before you set off for your next off-road escapade, consider boosting your Jeep JLU's storage capacity with our ingeniously designed cargo rack. Birthed from our pre-adventure brainstorming session for a trip to Moab, the cargo rack was a game-changer for how we stored our tools and recovery gear.

Strategic Design: Engineered to utilize unused roll bar space, we noticed that the JLU had existing holes ideal for securing our rack, making it a breeze to install.

Rugged Construction: Built with .250” thick aluminum side plates, the rack is engineered to withstand intense bouncing and jarring on rough terrains.

Innovative Dimple Dyed Holes: Add aesthetic appeal and mechanical strength, offering ideal spots for secure hook-and-strap arrangements.

Bolt-Together Design: Ensures the rack can handle heavy weights without compromising stability or integrity.
Installation Simplicity:
Installing this JLU cargo rack is straightforward. After assembling the basket, remove some trim pieces from the roll bar, attach the side plates, and you’re good to go. The factory plastics can be easily trimmed for side plate clearance with just a box knife or grinder. A few additional bolts will attach the basket securely to the side plates.
Ultimate Test and Validation:
We pushed our cargo rack to the limits on Moab’s trails and it exceeded expectations. The final challenge was ensuring the rack wouldn't rattle when empty on washboard dirt roads – and it passed with flying colors.
