The Motobilt MB1262 Tomahawk High Clearance Rear Bumper is purpose-built for the 2020–current Jeep Gladiator JT, delivering maximum departure angle, added protection, and trail-ready strength. Designed to sit higher and tighter than the factory bumper, the Tomahawk dramatically improves clearance while protecting vulnerable areas of the bed during aggressive off-road use.
A standout feature of the Tomahawk is the included modular rocker protection, shielding the exposed section of the Gladiator bed between the wheel well and rear bumper—an area often damaged on technical terrain. The rocker armor can be removed if a cleaner, minimalist look is preferred.
Manufactured in the USA from heavy-duty steel, this bumper features recessed 3/4-inch thick pass-through D-ring mounts, providing solid recovery points without sacrificing clearance. Integrated mounting provisions allow for Baja Designs S2 lights, while an included hitch-delete skid plate creates a smooth, protected center section when a receiver isn’t needed.
The Tomahawk bolts directly to the frame using eight mounting points for exceptional strength and rigidity. Installation requires trimming approximately four inches from the lower corners of the Gladiator bed for optimal clearance, with no frame cutting or drilling required.
