The Factor 55 Load Distribution Plate (LDP) is a unique rigging device designed for distribution of multiple loads and directions while recovering an item/vehicle.
The LDP provides a safe, central collection point for winching, rigging and recovering. Using a load distribution plate also prevents collecting multiple loads on to a single shackle, which can overload a standard shackle, leading to failure.
The self-aligning shackle pin holes fit common 3/4 inch pin shackles, and keep your shackle centered no mater what the angle/load is. The Factor 55 LDP's pear shaped holes permit 3/4 inch and 7/8 inch shackle bodies to pass through with ease.
Laser engraved angle scale has been added for sling multiplier estimates. Symmetric shape allows for common bridle tow configurations. Large smooth corner radius for soft shackle applications. Precision machined from 6000 series Military Grade Aluminum. Engineered, Tested, and Made In The USA. Military Specification Hard Anodized finish (Mil-A-8625 F Type III Gray). Working Load Limit 20,000 pounds. Minimum Breaking Strength 42,000 pounds.
