TeraFlex JK HD Tie Rod & Drag Link Kit
The TeraFlex HD tie rod kit is designed for extreme conditions that typically will cause factory steering components to bend and fail. The HD 1.6” O.D. 4140 heat treated chromoly tie rod is over 200% stronger than the factory tie rod. The forged tie rod end housing is designed specifically for JKs and allows proper clearance for use with factory 17” wheels. The tie rod end joint incorporates the same features found in our ball joints, including a 4140 chrome moly Ball/stud and 1045 carbon steel housing. It also features adjustable preload tension to ensure proper long term durability. The joint is pressed into the rod end housing and secured with a snap ring. When oriented in the Tie Rod configuration, the joint offers a total of 14 degrees of movement to minimize tie rod roll, but will still allow maximum turning. The HD drag link is fully forged to eliminate any excess movement during hard steering maneuvers and utilizes an oversized DOM factory style adjusting collar and pinch clamp for simple adjustments. The HD drag link incorporates the same rod end housing joints as used in the HD tie rod.
TeraFlex JK HD Dana 44/30 Upper & Lower Ball Joint Set of 4 w/o Knurl
TeraFlex HD ball joints are engineered to handle the increased load caused by oversized tires and offset wheels. The upper ball joint incorporates hard sintered wear bushings to handle extreme side load demands with out failure. The lower ball joint features a threaded top cap for adjustable preload and allows grease servicing without axle shaft removal, even with larger RCV shafts. A machined grease passage in the lower joint housing assembly provides lubrication access without affecting the ball joint load surface. Ball Joint features: 1045 carbon steel housing with magnesium phosphate coated assembly. 4140 chromoly ball/stud with magnesium phosphate anti-corrosion coating. Factory style serrated flanged castle nut. CR black Neoprene boot. These ball joints fit all JK Wrangler Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles. Note: We recommend ball joints without knurls as they will not score the inner knuckle and open up the bore. We also offer ball joint with knurls for ball joints that have a loose press fit in the inner knuckle due to repeated ball joint replacement or if knurled ball joints have been installed in the past.

This kit is designed to work with TeraFlex's heavy duty tie rod set up (hexagonal tubing), but may work with other tie rod configurations. Kit includes steering dampener, bracket, and hardware.
