SHOP DAYS: A Tour of Our Latest Off Road Builds 7/11/2023

Hello everyone! We're excited to give you a little bit of a tour of the variety of vehicles we have in the shop and the upgrades we're working on.

The Fully Outfitted Rig

You may recognize this vehicle. It's been in and out of the shop quite a bit as we've been doing a lot to this rig. It's already outfitted with a tent, Roto packs, and our full XCAP system. But what's new is the addition of our standoff bracket 2.0s. These enable the customer to mount our existing carrier plates to the inside, accommodating the XCAP. This vehicle is also getting a power tank and a propane tank, among other items.

The Beautiful JL

Next up, we have a beautiful JL in our favorite color, orange. We're upgrading this gentleman's axles to a high pinion Curry Dana 60. This thing is going to be a beast. We're keeping the suspension the same but adding some PSC steering so he can turn these massive tires on these massive axles very easily.

The Toyota Land Cruiser

We also have a beautiful Toyota Land Cruiser in the shop. We're adding some Old Man Emu replacement coilovers with reservoirs to improve the ride and give it a little bit of an increase in height. We're also adding some Old Man Emu upper control arms for better articulation and more down travel. In the back, we're adding some Icon rear control arms or trailing arms along with some coil springs to improve ride quality and accommodate more accessories for camping trips and overland experiences.

The Custom Powder Coated Rig

This rig is getting a custom powder coat to match the paint on the vehicle. We're changing it out to coilover and a bypass shock, going bigger axles on this thing. It's going to be amazing when we're all done.

The Mild Wild Builds

Not everything we do here at Rebel is over the top and extreme. Some guys just like a basic lift kit. For example, one customer decided to upgrade to 1350 drive shafts from Adam's Drive Shaft, one of the most trusted brands that we offer here at Rebel Off Road. He's already running on one of the ST3 kits from Teraflex, so we just wanted to beef this up a little bit more and add some peace of mind.
