Designed specifically for the Jeep Gladiator JT and our XPLOR Bed Rack System, this heavy-duty carrier relocates your spare from underneath the truck and positions it securely within the rack.
Moving an oversized spare tire out from underneath the Gladiator helps improve ground clearance and departure angle while keeping the truck bed open for camping gear, recovery equipment, tools, and other trail essentials.
Designed for the XPLOR Bed Rack System
The XPLOR Bed Rack Tire Carrier bolts directly to the center channel of both our Half Height and Full Height XPLOR Bed Racks. Its adjustable design accommodates different tire sizes and wheel backspacing, making it compatible with both factory and aftermarket wheels.
The carrier is capable of supporting spare tires up to 40 inches, making it an ideal solution for Gladiators running larger off-road tire setups that no longer fit comfortably in the factory spare tire location.
Retains Your Factory Spare Tire Winch
One of the biggest advantages of the XPLOR Tire Carrier is its ability to reuse the factory Jeep Gladiator spare tire winch. Rather than manually lifting a heavy oversized spare into position, the factory winch allows you to raise and lower the tire using the original spare tire crank.
The kit also includes four square shims designed to provide additional support between the tire and rack while helping prevent the tire sidewall from pressing directly against the edges of the bed rack.
Improve Clearance and Preserve Bed Space
Oversized spare tires mounted underneath the Gladiator can reduce rear ground clearance and become a potential contact point on steep climbs, ledges, and technical terrain. Relocating the spare to the XPLOR Bed Rack helps eliminate that obstruction while keeping the tire secure and easily accessible.
Mounting the spare vertically within the rack also keeps the remainder of the truck bed available for coolers, storage cases, recovery equipment, camping gear, or other equipment needed for your next trip.
Heavy-Duty American-Made Construction
The XPLOR Bed Rack Tire Carrier is manufactured in the USA from 10-gauge laser-cut American-sourced steel for the strength needed to support large off-road tires in demanding conditions.
Powder-coated components are sandblasted and pre-treated through a four-stage iron phosphate wash with a deionized water rinse. A zinc-rich primer basecoat is then applied before the final black fine-texture powder coat finish for added corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

Toyota Tacoma XPLOR Rack Fitment Note
This tire carrier can physically mount to compatible XPLOR Bed Rack configurations on the Toyota Tacoma; however, it is not compatible with the factory Toyota Tacoma spare tire winch. Tacoma applications require a factory-style Jeep Gladiator spare tire winch to complete the installation.
