Create the clearance you need for rooftop tents and bed rack accessories with the Rebel Off Road XPLOR Bed Rack Standoff Mounting Brackets.
Originally developed to raise oversized rooftop tents above the vehicle roofline, these compact brackets provide additional vertical clearance between your tent and the XPLOR Bed Rack. They're especially useful when a rooftop tent would otherwise sit too close to the cab and could make contact as the truck's bed, frame, and body move independently while traveling off road.
XPLOR Standoff Brackets can also be used as accessory mounting spacers, allowing carrier plates and other compatible accessories to be positioned away from the rack when additional clearance is required.
Raise Your Rooftop Tent for Additional Cab Clearance
Large rooftop tents can extend beyond the front of a bed rack and over the cab. When clearance is tight, movement between the truck bed, frame, and cab during off-road travel can allow the tent or mounting hardware to contact the vehicle roof.

Built for Off-Road Rooftop Tent Mounting
The number of Standoff Brackets used should be matched to your rooftop tent and intended vehicle use.
For lighter rooftop tents and light off-road use, Rebel Off Road recommends a minimum of four Standoff Brackets — two per side.
For heavier rooftop tents or vehicles that regularly see demanding off-road use, we recommend six Standoff Brackets — three per side for additional support.
More Than a Rooftop Tent Bracket
XPLOR Standoff Brackets can also solve accessory mounting and clearance problems throughout your bed rack system. Use the brackets when an accessory cannot mount directly against an XPLOR carrier plate or when additional spacing is required between the accessory and rack. This makes the Standoff Bracket a simple solution for custom XPLOR configurations where equipment, mounting hardware, handles, brackets, or other components require additional clearance.
Durable Textured Black Powder Coat
Each XPLOR Standoff Bracket is sandblasted and pre-treated using a four-stage iron phosphate wash with a deionized water rinse.
A zinc-rich primer basecoat is applied before the final black fine-texture powder-coated finish, providing a durable coating designed for demanding off-road environments.

XPLOR Standoff Brackets are proudly Made in the USA as part of the Rebel Off Road XPLOR modular bed rack system.
Each bracket is supplied with the appropriate hardware required to attach the bracket to the XPLOR Bed Rack.
Rooftop Tent Mounting Hardware
Important: XPLOR Standoff Brackets include the bracket and hardware required to attach the standoff to your XPLOR Bed Rack.
Hardware used to attach the rooftop tent itself to the Standoff Bracket is not included. You must use compatible bolts, sliders, channel nuts, or mounting hardware appropriate for your rooftop tent's mounting rails.
If your rooftop tent did not include compatible rail hardware, Rebel Off Road offers an XPLOR Rooftop Tent Mounting Hardware Kit designed specifically for this application.
How Many Standoff Brackets Do I Need?
- 4 Brackets / 2 Per Side: Recommended minimum for lighter rooftop tents and vehicles seeing light off-road use.
- 6 Brackets / 3 Per Side: Recommended for heavier rooftop tents, larger tents, and vehicles seeing more demanding off-road use.
- Accessory Mounting: Quantity depends on the carrier plate or accessory being installed.
Always consider the rooftop tent manufacturer's mounting requirements, tent weight, mounting-rail configuration, and intended vehicle use when determining the appropriate number of mounting points.

To mount your Rooftop tent flush against the top of the XPLOR Bed rack, add the Rebel Off Road Rooftop Tent Mounting Hardware Kit .
The kit includes channel nuts designed to slide into most rail-style rooftop tent mounting systems and accepts 3/8" Grade 8 mounting bolts for a strong connection between the tent and XPLOR mounting system.
