Description

This unique design is a direct replacement for the stock tire carrier. It is designed to accommodate a 35” tire without putting any additional stress on the tailgate. Unit will also clear a 37" tire, however the complete tire carrier bumper is recommended. Constructed of 1 ½” square .120 wall tubing and a 3/16” gauge steel center. The steel center bolts to the tailgate using factory holes and a gusset bolts to the factory hinges. This design relieves the stress from the tailgate and spreads the load out to the hinges, allowing the unit to carry a larger tire. Black semi-gloss powder coat finish. This unit will work with our rear basic bumper or the stock bumper.

The handcrafted construction of this sturdy bumper consists of 3/16” cold rolled steel and frenched-in 2” receiver hitch. The combination of sturdy construction and multiple angles adds strength and optimizes departure angles. This bumper wraps around the rear body with a thinner profile than stock bumpers. Integrated hitch does not interfere with ground clearance or departure angles. Powder coated in black semi-gloss finish. Hanson's rear bumper works w/stock size tires, if you are going to run larger than stock we suggest our tire carrier.
