The Giiro joints are free pivoting, self-lubricating, self-centering, silent in operation and maintenance free bushings that make our kits ride like butter no matter what's underneath your vehicle. Clayton Off Roads springs are designed utilizing a slightly higher free length, as well as an increased spring rate while offering the same smooth and comfortable driving experience.
- 1.5" kit will allow up to 35" tires on a Rubicon and 33" tires on a Sport or Sahara model.
- 2.5" kit will allow up to 37" tires on a Rubicon and 35" tires on a Sport or Sahara model.

CONTROL ARMS: Setting proper axle position, pinion angles and caster angles is critical to delivering a smooth on road ride, great off-road flex and overall performance. When everything is adjusted properly your vehicle just works better, not only day one, but for years to come. Our Wrangler JL control arms feature a unique bushing which utilizes a large outside knurled washer to allow greater surface area and therefore a superior clamping force. Proper clamping force is critical in eliminating death wobble issues and overall handling. Lower control arm housings also use a super thick 5/16s housing to eliminate any worry of denting or ripping the housing apart. A premium tube insert is pressed into the alternate end, plug welded, and then fully robotic welded for maximum penetration, consistency, and precision.
TRACK BARS: Our JL adjustable track bar is constructed from 1 3/8" X 5/16" DOM Tubing. Our new forged GIIRO joint adjuster is used axle side for a 100% bolt in setup. Giiro Joints at both ends to allow flex and absorb road noise and vibrations. Differential clearance bend allows this track bar to be used with 0-6" of lift.
COIL SPRINGS: Claytons Dual Rate Jeep Wrangler JL Diesel coils are both dual rate and side specific. The Jeep Wrangler JL was designed using a passenger and driver specific coils, for optimal balance and height. The Jeep Wrangler JL was also setup using longer travel shocks, and therefore the use of a dual rate rear coil help prevent coils from unseating at maximum articulation.
The first rate will fully compress under the weight of the vehicle at ride height, utilizing the second rate while driving down the road. This rate has been increased over factory to help support added weight and offroad use. But still smooth enough to give our customers the ride quality and comfort they expect from a Clayton Off Road lift kit. Since the JL has the gas tank on the passenger side, our passenger side coils are slightly taller helping to keep your JL level. But with the same spring rate, on road feel is uniform, and your left with a better than factory ride, in your lift Jeep Wrangler JL.
SWAY BAR LINKS: Proper sway bar angles result in better handling and increase off-road performance. The more you lift your vehicle, the more necessary proper sway bar angles become. Longer sway bar links will make sure your links are not acting as limiting straps, and will also help out on-road to control body roll. Our links are 100% bolt in, come pre-greased, and use Teflon coated heim joints.
BUMP STOPS: Bump stops are another simple yet effective component used to limit up travel either before your tire runs out of room, or your shock runs out of travel. The front bump stops are 3 ¼” tall made from UHMW and can be cut to customize up travel. Rear bump stops are 3” tall steel spacers, and come pre-drilled for optional bolt-on spacers for those of you looking to customize your rear up travel.
