The Currie® 44 JK rear crate axle is the perfect upgrade for JK owner looking to upgrade the strength and functionality of their JK’s rearend with a significantly stronger housing, locking differential and a new gear ratio to go with those larger tires

The Currie 44 crate axle is a direct bolt-in replacement that reuses the stock rotors, ABS sensors and retains the stock wheel bolt pattern.


Built to the legendary Currie Standard, Featuring:

  Currie 44 low-pinion nodular iron center section features 14 lbs of additional reinforcement, with thicker walls and webbing to deliver superior strength and rigidity
  Tube wall diameter increased to .375 in. for increased strength and rigidity over the stock .250 wall tubes
  Currie Performance 30-spline heat-treated 4140 chromoly axles provide increased strength over the factory carbon steel axles
  Included 1310 pinion flange allows the factory driveshaft to be used without modification
  Rock-proof Currie nodular iron front cover protects expensive internals and adds structural suppo rt to the housing's face flange
  Heavy gauge 3/16” in. upper and lower control arm brackets feature multiple mounting points to enable the tuning of suspension geometry.
Powder Coat   Black satin powder coat finish adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your Currie 44 looking its best
  Axle feature dual-drilled wheel bolt patterns, with stock 5 on 5 (studs installed) and optional 5 on 5 1/2 (holes drilled)



Computer Programming: 2012 and newer vehicles require a computer programmer, such as the AEV ProCal Module to reset the gear ratio and tire height in the vehicle's computer for the proper function of the vehicles stability control and transmission shift points

Brake Components: Does not include rear disk brake rotors or calipers, mounting brackets are designed to reuse the stock rotors and calipers from the vehicle.

Wheel Bolt Pattern: Axles are dual patterns drilled, 5 on 5” with wheel studs installed and 5 on 5 ½” (holes only) to match a Currie 60 front

Wheel Studs: Includes 1/2 inch wheel studs

Overall Width: Axle width is 65.375 inches (stock JK) between wheel mounting surfaces
