The Currie® 44 heavy-duty high-pinion Jeep JK front housing delivers superior strength in a light-weight direct bolt-in package that’s designed for heavy off-road use. Built to the Currie Standard with a reinforced nodular iron center section, large diameter axle tubes and forged knuckles the Currie 44 eliminates the common failure points of the weak factory front axle assemblies.

The high-pinion Currie 44 is a cost-effective direct bolt-in upgrade that reduces the overall swap cost by enabling the reuse of the complete stock outer knuckle assemblies (brake rotors, calipers, hubs, etc.) from the vehicle's Dana® 30 or 44 frontend

Knuckle Assemblies: The Currie 44 is designed to reuse the complete stock JK Dana® 30 or 44 outer knuckle assemblies from the ball joints out (knuckles, hubs, disk brake calipers and rotors)

Axle Compatibility: New Currie 44 housings are designed to use the widely available JK Rubicon length replacement axles

Internal Components: Uses the 8.5-inch late model JK gears with larger 29-spline pinion shaft and standard 44 non-Rubicon differential carriers

Overall Width: Axle width is 65.4 inches (stock JK width) between wheel mounting surfaces

Tire Size: Recommended maximum 37-inch tire size due to the inherent limitations of the stock brakes, wheel bearings, and axle u-joints
