Rightline Gear

Rightline Gear was introduced in 2009, but our story begins much earlier than that. We initially honed our craft with a collection of direct-to-consumer products sold on the company-owned website, lakelandgear.com. These carriers and tents (branded lakelandgear, Piggy Pack, PackRight, and CampRight) met the needs of customers on a small scale - but with the launch of Rightline Gear, we aspired to up our game and deliver a superior selection of automotive and outdoor Gear to national retail. Now, years later, that decision to elevate our business model has proven to be the key to our success, driving growth through increased visibility and accessibility in ways that our prior website never could have achieved. 

Something that hasn’t changed, however, is our approach to designing products. Whether we’re working with a cutting-edge new concept that’s going to shake up the market (like our game-changing Car Clips) or putting our own spin on an existing product idea that’s been around for a long time (like the Foam Block Kayak Carrier), our goal is to take it to the next level. By eliminating the shortcomings and little annoyances that people have come to live with, we’re always staying true to our objective: to create new takes on old product ideas that solve old problems.
